THE STORY
The game begins when the hero of the game hears about the legendary Pokémon cards he travels to Prof. Mason's lab who is the expert on Pokémon cards, like Prof. Oak in Pokémon Red and Blue. You get a quick tutorial and then you can travel through the land and battle other card players.

The objective is to make a really good deck and defeat the "GRAND MASTERS" (like the "ELITE FOUR" in Pokémon Red and Blue). They hold the most valuable Pokemon cards. There's loads of locations to visit, and much of the game is just like the normal card game. If you like that you will defenitly like this but this game is also fun for people who dont like the TCG!

SOUND & GRAPHICS
Graphics aren't really good but it doesn't detract from the fun of the game. Music and sound are pretty basic but hey, its a GameBoy!

FUN THINGS TO KNOW

  • Just like in Pokémon Red and Blue you have a rival.
  • There are eight clubs (like the gyms in red and blue).
  • The "GRAND MASTERS" reside in the "GRAND DOME" wich is like INDIGO PLATEAU" in red and blue.
  • Over 200 cards can be found in the game.

PERSONAL OPINION
Personally, I think this game is really good and highly addictive, even though the graphics are disapointing and the sound is not very good. I think this game ROCKS! If I compare it with Red and Blue it is at least an equal.

OVERALL:
Gameplay: 9.5
Graphics: 6.5
Sound: 6.5
Orignality: 8.0
